Well here we are still searching, looking, planning on eventually finding that little comfy humble abode to call home. There have been people saying that we wouldn't ever make it to Austin, tha it was too far away, and that we wouldn't like it once we did finally arrive. But I;m starting this blog to osay that we do like it already, though our ability to stay hasn't been determined in finality just yet.
There is of course the issue of finding a place to live. We decided early on that we would much prefer to own a home. Since both Judy and I have good stable jobs here, we're not planning on going anywhere anytime soon.
The home search has been a bit ardouous though. Mostly thanks to the summer heat. It's a beautiful place to be, this Austin, even in the summer, however, one must remian comfortably indoors and well air condiitoned or splashing about in the fresh, spring-fed waters of what many have called here "the soul of Austin."
We are making progress in the search and have like especially the avery ranch homes for sale that we've found online. There have been a number of seemingly quiet and ensconsed bungalos that we may soon call our own. Indeed, the search must continue, but we seem to be approaching a finality soon.
